Dr. Tamela Martin is a Stanford-trained, board-certified ophthalmic surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons who brings more than 25 years of surgical precision, anatomical mastery, and physician-led innovation to the luxury aesthetics space. With training from UC Berkeley, UCSF School of Medicine, and Stanford University—where she served as Chief Resident—Dr. Martin represents a rare blend of elite academic pedigree, microsurgical expertise, and entrepreneurial leadership.

Her foundation in advanced ophthalmic and oculoplastic surgery uniquely positions her within high-end aesthetic medicine. Years of complex microsurgery, facial anatomy specialization, and periocular reconstruction have translated seamlessly into refined aesthetic outcomes, particularly in upper and lower blepharoplasty, facial contouring, laser resurfacing, and injectables. Her surgical background enables a level of structural understanding and complication management that differentiates physician-led luxury brands from commoditized aesthetic models.

Dr. Martin has founded and led multiple physician-directed aesthetic and medical ventures, building concierge-level platforms that integrate surgical aesthetics, regenerative therapies, advanced laser technologies, neuromodulators, dermal fillers, bio-stimulatory treatments, and metabolic optimization programs. In addition to her clinical leadership, Dr. Martin is a physician-inventor with patents filed in nitric oxide–mediated optic nerve regeneration. She developed a novel multimodal protocol addressing optic atrophy and ischemic optic neuropathy, reflecting her translational mindset and intellectual depth.
